1.Why Is It Called Realistic “GAINS”?

I know “GAINS” might have a bad connotation - you might think it means we’re trying to turn into body builders orrrrr you’re going to gain a bunch of weight. BUT here’s the deal - there’s A LOT I want you to GAIN from this group. I want you to GAIN muscle, GAIN strength (mentally & physically), GAIN a better relationship with food, GAIN confidence. I want you to have infinite GAINS with your fitness goals & with yourself.

2. Can Women Join?

Yes, women (and men anddd anyone) can join! There are workout options for men & women (mostly adjusting what body parts we’re working on more - men’s program are more geared towards upper body. Women’s are more geared towards lower body). BUT Anyone can join & benefit from this program!

3. What Equipment Do I Need?

Whatever you have, I guarantee we have a program for you. Each month, we have new GYM programs & new AT HOME (DUMBBELL) programs.

As long as you have a pair of dumbbells (ideally one set that is lighter - around 5-15lbs range, and one set that is a bit heavier - around 25-40lb range), you can make a lotttt of progress!

4. How Long Do The Workouts Take To Complete?

The workout programs include 3 & 4 day options! They will take around 45-75 minutes to complete (but there are ways/things to do to cut back on how long they take in case you don’t have as much time)!

5. Can Canadians Join The Group?

Absolutely! We also welcome all countries! I’ve worked with clients from MANY different countries (Guatemala, England, Mexico, Australia, Kuwait, AND Canada!). As long as you have access to the internet, speak (some) English/can translate, we would LOVE to have you be a part of Realistic Gains!

6. Can I Join Even If I Don’t Have FaceBook (and can NOT join the FB Group)?

Yes! You will still get ALL of the main benefits of the program! You will still get weekly emails from me (Pat) & me/my team will be here to answer any/all questions (can send through email)! You will get more of the full benefit if you join the FaceBook group BUT you still get MORE than your money’s worth even without being on Facebook/in the group!

7. Can I Join Even If I’m VEGAN/VEGETARIAN?

Yes! There aren’t any set foods/meals you HAVE to eat to make progress. We will guide you through what to do/focus on (even if you are vegan/vegetarian) AND we are working on having Vegan/Vegetarian recipe options as well!

8. Can I Eat PIZZA & Make Progress?

GREAT question!!! That’s what this group is ALL about - making progress while still enjoying life! I looooove pizza so much I have a slice of pizza tattoo’d on me (seriously). That’s a BIG part of what we’ll talk about & work through - how to eat pizza (or your favorite fun/tasty foods) while still making progress! It’s possible :)

9. What If I Miss A Week or Have A “BAD” Week (Vacation, Life, Etc)?

That’s where the group & having coaches within Realistic Gains support you & help is sooo beneficial.

Not every week is going to be “perfect” andddd life happens at times. I have had many times where I wasn’t "perfect” with fitness (because of injuries, personal life, traveling) butttt I still took positive action in some way. That’s what this program is for. I want us/this group to be a part of your life (no matter what season of life it is) - There are ways/options to make progress (orrrr at least maintain SOME progress) no matter what is going on in your life.

If you have a “bad” week or a lot going on, let us know & we’ll work to help you get back on track & keep making progress!

10. Can I Build Muscle & Strength With This Program? (It’s Not ONLY Fat Loss Rightttt?)

HELL YES!!! While most people are always trying to lose weight/fat (and that’s a big part of what my social media content has been about) - I think the most enjoyable & fun part of the fitness journey is BUILDING MUSCLE & GETTING STRONGER!!! You can COMPLETELY change how your body looks/is shaped through lifting. Want bigger arms? You can do that! Want to get your booty POPPIN? You can do that!

Again, helllll yes - we do have workouts & nutrition goals (and also other information) for those that want to build muscle/strength!

Additionally, even if you want to maintain progress - that’s an option within the group as well!

11. Will There Be Giveaways?!? Do I Get FREE STUFF?

There are A LOT of Giveaways/Gifts/REWARDS for you!

FIRST - we have monthly giveaways - Each month, we will be selecting winners based on who is making progress, wo is super positive in the group (encouraging others/supporting them), & also overcame different challenges! Anddd the more people that join the group, the more people we will select as monthly winners of the giveaways!

NEXT - REWARDS For You!!! Every 6 months you are in the group, you will receive a reward ($25 value) & also a shout out for being a part of the group! We want to reward YOU for working on your fitness goals for the long haul & committing to it!

BIRTHDAYS! Yes, when it’s your birthday, we will be sending you a gift (these will change each year as well)!

12. Will You Tell Me What To Eat?

No - Realistic Gains is all about you creating & developing a great relationship with food. I will never tell you that you CAN NOT eat/drink something.

Sure, 2 entire Large Pizzas to yourself in one sitting is likely not fitting into anyone’s fitness goals.

AND yes, you can/should be focusing on quality foods like fruits, veggies, lean protein sources. But that’s part of learning/understanding nutrition is being able to have SOME freedom/flexibility to work in different foods you enjoy. This makes it easier to stay on track no matter where you are & what you’re doing!

Yes, there will be structure & guidelines to follow with nutrition. BUT it’s not a clear-cut, you can ONLY eat this, you CAN’T eat that, type of approach.

13. How Long Will This Group Last???

This group will last FOREVER - no seriously, I’m running this group with the intention of doing it (and being a part of your life) for the rest of my life lol. That sounds crazy BUT fitness SHOULD be a part of your life for the long haul. AND I think the workouts/information/community/fun aspects of the group are things that you’ll want to be sticking around for the long haul as well.

The group is paid monthly & you can cancel at any time BUT we want to be a part of your fitness journey for the long haul! We want Realistic Gains to be YOUR place to make fitness progress in a realistic way for the long haul!
